Garli-Cheese Wag-Wafers

Equipment

  • 2 Measuring cups Liquid and Dry
  • 1 Rubber spatula/scraper
  • 1 Metal Spatula
  • 1 Cheese grater
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 2 Cookie sheets
  • 2 Wire rack/cooling rack
  • 1 Small mixing bowl for grated cheese to come to room temperature
  • 1 Large mixing bowl
  • Cookie cutters what ever your desired shapes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat or Oat Flour
  • 1 1/4 Cups Grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 Pound Olive Oil
  • 1 Clove Garlic Crushed
  • 1/4 Cup water, stock or milk any liquid will work

Instructions

  • Grate the cheese into a bowl and let stand until it reaches room temperature.
  • Cream the cheese with the softened margarine, garlic, salt and flour.
  • Add enough milk to form into a ball.
  • Chill for 1/2 hour.
  • Roll onto floured board.
  • Cut into shapes then bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until slightly brown and firm.

Notes

 
This is a flexible recipe; if it is too sticky, add more flour, or if it is too stiff, add more water. 
The recipe can make up to 3 dozen biscuits, depending on size.
