Equipment

  • 2 Measuring cups Liquid and dry
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Rubber spatula/scraper
  • 1 Pastry brush to oil cookie sheet if you don't have spray cooking oil
  • 1 Metal Spatula
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 2 Cookie sheets
  • 2 Wire rack/cooling rack
  • 1 Large mixing bowl
  • Cookie cutters what ever your desired shapes

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Cups Oat flour
  • 1/2 Cup Cornmeal
  • 1 Apple Chopped or Grated
  • 1 Egg Beaten
  • 1/3 Cup Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 3/8 Cup Water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Spray cookie sheet with vegetable oil spray.
  • Lightly dust work surface with flour.
  • Blend flours and cornmeal in large mixing bowl.
  • Add apple, egg, oil, brown sugar and water. Mix until well blended.
  • On floured surface, roll dough out to 7/8 inch thickness.
  • Cut with cookie cutters of desired shape and sizes. Place on prepared sheet.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes. Turn off oven. Leave door closed 1 hour to crisp treats then remove from oven.
  • Store treats in an airtight container or plastic bag and place in refrigerator or freezer.
